OVERVIEW: Ohio’s Akron Public School district (APS) ranks as the 7th largest in the state, employing more than 3,000 teachers and staff to serve and support over 21,000 students from pre-K through grade 12. Rooted in a diverse and urban region, APS has demonstrated its commitment to the community beyond being classrooms for children.
